Juicing Grapefruit

Juicing Grapefruit

Adding fresh Grapefruit to your juice, especially when mixed with orange it works really well. All you need to do is remove the skin, but leave as much pith on as you can, as a lot of the nutrients are found there.

Grapefruit is good for the bones and joints, as it takes away any lifeless calcium from around them. It also is good for stimulating digestion, as it has been known to trigger the digestive enzymes.

It is also an excellent purifier for the lymphatic system, which is part of your circulatory system. It can also be a great diuretic, enabling your body to release more urine.

Some of the vitamins and minerals that have been found in grapefruit are Vitamins A, B, C and Beta-carotene. Also calcium, potassium, phosphorus, socium, salicylic acid and pectin.
