Juicing Ginger

Ginger can be a very strong root to add to your juice, so only use a tiny chunk, unless you can handle the flavour! However putting too much ginger in your juice will just overpower the other fruit, so use sparingly!

Ginger can help to soothe the stomach and relieve nausea, so can be beneficial for people who suffer from travel sickness, or expectant mothers who suffer from morning sickness. It can also help to relieve the sickness caused by chemotherapy.

Ginger also has anti-inflamatory properties, and can be useful in easing muscle pain after exercise. It contains essential oils that interrupt the inflamation process in the body.

Ginger has also known to be great for the circulatory system. It can provide enhanced circulation by widening the blood vessels. Because of this, oxygen, nutrients and white blood cells can be more efficiently transported around the body. Also this can help to reduce blood pressure, due to the blood vessels widening.

Ginger is great for your immune system, so adding a little bit to your juice can have great benefits, and can aid in fighting off colds and bugs.
