Juicing Cucumber

Juicing cucumber is extremely hydrating for the body, and it provides plenty of juice, so you won't need much of it. When juicing cucumber, leave on the skin, as this is where most of the nutrients are. Drinking cucumber juice is great for your complexion, and has been known to give your skin a healthy glow. This is down to the high quantity of silica in cucumber, which is a mineral that is responsible for strengthening connective tissue, therefore adding elasticity to your skin.

Cucumber is also known to be a natural diuretic, which means this helps you to release more urine and so can affect the distribution of fluid in the body, so the water portion of the blood is decreased, therefore can reduce high blood pressure.
