Although you will need a lot of blueberries to get juice from, they are packed full of goodness. They are great for your immune system and are high in antioxidants – in fact you can't buy a more antioxidant rich berry, as they contain high amounts of bioflavonoids and anthocyanidins. These antioxidants have been said to protect blood vessels from oxidative damage, also from chemical damage from things like alcohol and cigarette smoke. Antioxidants have been said to reduce many serious diseases, such as heart disease and cancer, they also help to reduce ageing, as they strengthen the connective tissue in the body.
